I think they were a little - certainly the people they were staying with weren't convinced by it. When that little girl had the absess on her neck, her father was adament that their native medicines would help more than the VT's medication. He went out and destroyed an ants nest that night in order to cure his little girl. The next day, her neck started draining. Personally, I think it is just a coincidence that the night he destroys a nest is the day his daughter gets better. If there is any truth in it all, do tell.
