Birds milk

In ireland we use to use sedge sap or “Birds milk” the name given to the latex in the stem of sedges to get rid of warts. Plant collected in garden, latex dabbed on warts and allowed to dry.

    Sorry could you be more specific about the name & appearance of plant? Maybe with a link to another page that describes it? I'm very interested, but have no idea what sedges are...
