treating boils

contributed by Ethnomedica 19 Jan | 16:47

When we use to have boils our mother use to make an onion poultice. An onion was chopped and boiled until it was soft. Some bread was added to the water and onion mixture. The mixture was then made into a poultice by placing in on a cotton cloth which was tied onto the part of the body that had the boil. The poultice was applied as hot as possible.
