Tea tree oil clears spots
I’ve used tea tree oil neat to clear pimples / spots / zits. Just dab a little on and the antiseptic and antibacterial properties of the oil help to reduce redness, swelling and clear up the spot in no time

It's also good for nits and lice - or rather bad for them, they hate it! A tea tree based shampoo or conditioner and fine combing is probably the best way of combating the little suckers. Or never let your kids go to school, that might work...

Tea tree oil doesn't just clear spots it is fantastic for eczema, psoriasis and has even been reported as being used on some forms of skin cancer. I've been using tea tree in various forms for around 15 years, oils, creams, soaps shampoo's. The aboriginal first aid box as its also known is available now in high street cosmetic brands and toothpastes, taking many years for it to have gained the recognition it deserves.

Can I just offer a word of caution, as someone who suffers from eczema? I have to steer clear of anything containing tea tree oil. I find it causes my eczema to flare, including one memorable and horribly painful 'glow in the dark' experience when I used a lotion on some eczema on my legs. Products containing lavender or chamomile oils also cause problems for me, though not as severe as TTO.
