Snail Trail
A neighbour of mine (Christine B.) told me last night at a party about the latest fad in skin care. Apparently all the local health food shops and chemists are now stocking skin cream based on the slime which snails leave behind them. I’ve forgotten the product name but it’s totally up-front about the snaily contents. Having got some of that gunk on my hands recently I can well believe it’s a good moisturiser.

Hi ArkAngel - I have heard my sister mention this quite a bit. She has very sensitive skin and is prone to allergic reactions. I looked around and found this http://www.bioskinrevitalizer.com/sensitive/ it seems to be an iteresting product I think the active ingredient is in the mucin of the snail. Which is a bit gross but if it works who cares!

Fson, let us know how you get on - I'd be interested to hear what it's like to actually use

This thing, somehow, reminded me of something I saw on TV some time ago. It was about a pedicure treatment provided by... fish nibbling dead skin on your feet.

Nice connection, Bruxonama, there's a whole moist menagerie thing we can get going here... molluscs, fish, what other slimy creatures help heal?
