Hops & passion flower for insomnia

contributed by scottfree 31 Mar | 11:23

Whenever I have insomnia, I take herbal tablets called Quiet Life. It recommends 3 tablets ‘to promote natural sleep’, and sure enough, they work nearly every time.

The ingredients are: motherwort powder, hops powder, passiflora powder, lettuce aqueous
powdered extract, valerian dry extract, thaimine hydrochloride,
riboflavin, nictinamide.

I don’t know what motherwort or some of the other ingredients do, but I have tried other brands of tablets that have hops and passionflower (passiflora), and they seem to work, too… just sometimes not as well as these do.

Having been a longtime insomniac, I have to say I really prefer these to prescription drugs. They don’t make you dehydrated or your head all groggy the next day.
