101 year old granny swears by Thyme for diarrhea
At the Cheltenham Science Festival a lady visiting the medicine chest stand told me of her 101 year old granny’s strong belief in drinking a tea made from thyme (not for life extension!) to treat diarrhea. Although she had not tried it herself she told me that her brother had used this remedy and found it to be effective. This could be down to the known antiseptic properties of this popular herb. Has anyone else tried this remedy?
