treatment for warts

contributed by marilynann 15 Jun | 10:22

I suffered from warts on my hands as a child and my mother would break off stems from Sunspurge (a weed growing freely in the garden) and apply the milky liquid to my warts.  It always worked and the warts gradually disappeared.

When my son had warts in the 1960s I remembered this treatment and used it with him – and sure enough the warts soon went.  Be careful though not to get it on normal skin as when my daughter put some on her face  it caused what my GP described as a ‘chemical burn’

I wonder whether the milky liquid in Dandelions would also work?  I haven’t had warts since and neither has my son so I shall never know!
