Not so traditional wart remedy
After having tried freezing and acid (Duofilm) treatments, I decided to ask the nurse at my local GP to cut out this wart that was slowly getting on my nerves. “Have you tried duck/duct tape?” was her reply. Two weeks later, the wart is hardly there anymore. After doing a search, the internet revealed that Wikipedia has a lot of information on this issue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duct_tape_. I guess their conclusion is that the judge is out on its efficacy. However, many people including myself have had some very good results! Origin of treatment (time and location) unknown.

Actually just spotted it in Perspectives section to the right of this. "This treatment is often called by the name duct tape occlusion therapy." ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duct_tape) There's another article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duct_tape_occlusion_therapy "a controversial method for treating warts by keeping them covered with duct tape for an extended period. The putative mechanism is not well understood and is likely a result of stimulation of the host immune system."
