Staying awake
I am sure it is no news to anyone that coffee and black tea help keep us awake.
Before I was born, my father used to work at night to be able to finance his studies. So, he would attend classes during the day, rush to work, and come back, late at night, to study. During the exams period, things were really difficult and he depended on coffee to keep him awake.
I, personally, hate the taste of coffee and I am definitely not a big fan of tea either. However, when I feel more tired, I do rely on a cup of coffee to give me a boost.
