As I myself suffer from serious oily skin i have taken a lot of time to finding the best remedies.

I found out that simply trying to take as much oil out of the skin with say an alcohol based cleanser and seriously make issues worse.

To treat oily skin you must use oil as oil mixes with oil and not water and so there for has a much better change of clearing the excess oil.

What you need:

Grape Seed Oil (as this is a very light base oil that is close to the skins natural oil)
Juniper Oil
Lemon Oil
Lavender Oil
Cyprus Oil
Geranium Oil
and some sort of menthol oil like Mint
corse sea salt
table salt
White or Green Clay (I use a pre-mixed clay mask product made for oily skin)
Freshly cracked Black Pepper
Manuka Honey

How it works: the salt and pepper gives the scrubb, and salt is a natural cleanser as such and the pepper will help the promotion of new skin growth, lavender is very good for oilly skin and helps to sooth it, as do most of the other essential oils mentioned, the mint oil promotes skin growth its also a natural antibacterial helps to make the skin feel fresh and gets the blood flowing, some of the oils can help to clear and cleanse, the clay will help to gently dry out absorb and treat the sebum which is a huge issue when it comes to oily skin, and the honey has a lot of good natural minerals which helps to heal, sooth, smooth and keeps it all together.

I dont know the actual measurements of these ingredients, but i just mix it all together so i makes a paste like form quite sticky from the honey which soothes and holds it all together. It lasts for ages and ages due to the huge amount of salt.

To Use: Simply pre cleanse the face with soap free face wash and hot water, dont rub your face too much at this point as the rubbing can cause your skin to make more oil. Then simply get a small bit, as if you use too much in one go it just drops off your face, so use small amounts and work your way round your face. make sure to be carful round the eyes for obvious reasons. you can actually rub quite hard and it wont do anything more so its quite good, leave it on for a few minuets to work and soak in, rub again, maybe with a cotton wool pad wiping off as you go. Wash you face with the same soap free wash getting rid of any salt crystals or oil. Rinse your face with cold water to close all your pores, pad your face dry and moisturize.
